Fitness Background: I grew up as a competitive dancer and performer starting at a very young age and have always had a passion for health and wellness. After graduating from Pace University in the Commercial Dance Program, I knew I wanted to continue to grow my skills, not only to keep myself healthy and moving, but to help others do the same! I’ve worked with numerous young athletes and competitive dancers, focusing on stabilization and injury prevention, as well as adults looking to focus on aging smarter. I am Pilates and Barre certified, as well as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and IIN Certified Health Coach. I am so excited to be adding Lagree Instructor to my repertoire, as this form of movement has worked wonders for my body and mind, and I can’t wait to help others feel the same!
Why I love what I do: I love the concept of balanced mind and body work, and am always working to help others feel strong, healthy, and confident. As I’ve gotten older and further away from my dancing years, my body has craved lower-impact movement. It’s taken me a while to understand this concept, but the value in low-impact, high-intensity training is worth its weight in gold. I love the community and support that I am surrounded by here and the strength I feel, mentally and physically, each time I leave a class.
