biography

Fitness Background: I grew up playing sports and loved being active, but once I got to college, life just felt like it moved too fast for exercise to stay a part of my routine. After an illness in my second year of college, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and suddenly taking care of my body became the most important thing I absolutely had to make sure I prioritized every single day. I couldn’t ignore that. Even so, it was hard to find a form of movement that felt natural to incorporate into my life until I discovered Lagree. It was the first workout that not only fit seamlessly into my routine (40 minutes!) but also put me in a supportive community setting and made me feel truly strong.

Why I love what I do: In a world that moves so quickly, Lagree is my reminder to slow down. It’s the only thing during the day where the entire point is to move slow, be intentional and present. I love that I get to share that experience with others, helping students find strength, focus, and joy in every class.

Values: My teaching is rooted in my three core values: curiosity (exploring what’s possible), playfulness (finding lightness in the challenge), and being a lifelong learner (growing alongside my students with each class).
