Queen Anne's Lagree Fitness Studio

Inspire brought Lagree Fitness to Seattle in 2010, opening its first studio in Queen Anne. Today, our Queen Anne Avenue N studio continues that tradition with challenging workouts, knowledgeable instruction, and a supportive community.

Every Queen Anne class uses the Megaformer and the Lagree method’s slow, controlled pace to challenge your core, endurance, balance, and muscular strength. Whether you are new to Lagree or have been practicing for years, our instructors help you learn the machine, refine your form, and continue getting stronger.

Your first visit

What to Expect at Your First Lagree Class

You do not need previous Lagree or Pilates experience to begin. Most new clients can start in a group class, and Inspire also offers an introductory class and private sessions for people who would benefit from additional guidance.

Arrive Early

First-time clients should arrive at least 10 minutes before class so the instructor can introduce the Megaformer and answer questions.

Bring Grip Socks

Grip socks are required. Bring a water bottle and towel, and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

Move With Control

Lagree uses slow, deliberate movement and constant muscular tension. Your instructor will provide cues and modifications throughout class.

The workout

What Is Lagree Fitness?

Lagree is a high-intensity, low-impact strength and endurance method performed on the Megaformer. Exercises flow together while your muscles remain under tension, helping you train strength, core stability, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance in the same class.

The pace is intentionally slow. Instead of using momentum, you control each movement so the targeted muscles stay engaged.

Lagree and Reformer Pilates Are Different

Both use spring resistance and controlled movement, but Lagree is its own fitness method. Lagree classes emphasize continuous muscular tension, strength, endurance, and efficient transitions on the Megaformer.

People searching for a more intense Pilates-inspired workout often find that Lagree provides the combination of control and full-body strength training they are looking for.
